It was not always cool to be green. In our age of manic children's television, where characters seem to be either jacked-up on sugar or hyperactive genetic hybrids, it's refreshing to return to Kermit the Frog. Kermit's song of moody self-acceptance is the calming opposite of Miss Piggy's blazing pop ballads of ecstatic self-love - a green guy's bluesy sense of coming to terms with just being green, and all the limitations that come with it.
