On the eve of the World Cup, Nike has recruited Hollywood director Alejandro G. Iñarritu (21 Grams, Babel) to create this three-minute salute to the game that connects the continents.  With a star-studded cast of the expected (players including Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Landon Donovan) and the unexpected (Kobe Bryant, Roger Federer and Homer Simpson!), the film captures all the white-knuckled tension and split-second glories of the game's biggest moments. Launched exclusively on NikeFootball.com, the viral film is scheduled for a "global rollout" across 32 countries, rippling like a pixelated human wave across the hemispheres.

Spearheaded by Adrian Grenier, “Lighten Up” is a web series that spotlights bands as they reduce their carbon footprint on tour. One of the leaders of the pack, the Dave Matthews Band, engages their fans by setting up eco villages at concerts – complete with water stations (where aluminum cans are filled), sustainable products and organic food. Relying on biodiesel tour buses and recycling stations everywhere, “We wanted to give fans a bigger experience than just the music and the show,” says Stefan Lessard, the bassist who's led the band’s green push. Checkout Grenier's own band The Honey Brothers as they lighten their load.
