Here’s a great web series that’s a sign of TV to come. As CBS ramps up for its April 9th launch of murder mystery “Harper’s Island,” the network has unveiled a parallel web series, “Harper’s Globe,” which serves as a prequel, a story extension, and a “social show” involving viewers. “Globe” revolves around a young woman who takes a job as online community manager at the island’s local paper (well done), and while digitizing the archives stumbles upon a series of gruesome murders. Clues (and urls) are embedded in the videos (and possibly the digitized archives). Created with the guys behind the hit web series "Lonely Girl" and "KateModern".
