The Game is in US: World Cup Soccer Trailer for USA Bid 2018 / 2022
Given the scale of tourism and media attention that accompanies World Cup soccer, countries all over the world are making their bids to bring the games to their home turf. What better time than on the eve of this year’s Cup, to be held in far off South Africa, to make an appeal to “bring them home” to the U.S. As one fan puts it: “This is the only country where you don’t need the fans to come in – they’ve got 'em over here.” In every stripe, with every possible accent. Top that, Australia. “Soccer brings the world together – that’s why it needs to come to the states.”
