The Most Pretentious Commercial Ever
I don't want to spoil what this is a commercial for, but it may just be the most hilariously overwrought match of product and visuals in advertising history. Showered in Gustavo Santollala's evocative score, with imagery so slickly beautiful it would make Janusz Kaminski weep, this ad earned huge gales of laughter when it played in movie theaters last year. The punchline happens at 2:41.
