Cartoons are not what they used to be, and that's why when something like this comes along you have to watch it. The WWII-era cartoon features a torn Donald Duck who's unsure whether to spend his money or save to pay his taxes. The government certainly does make a persuasive argument; as the narrator puts it, "Taxes will keep democracy on the march." They don't call it propaganda for nothing.
