  Sam King is a lowly assistant at Universal Records UK in London, and gets into all kinds of shenanigans in his secret world (all not so secretly sponsored by Universal Music).  In Episode 1, poor Sam gets kidnapped and tied up by the Jonas Brothers (really) who JUST HAPPEN to be on the Universal Music label, go figure. Sincerely, your teenage daughter will be way more interested in 37 episodes than you are, with all its vapid auto-tuned music and pretty peeps, hell, even the Pussycat Dolls show up later in the series.  I mention it mostly for the headscratching "Really, THAT'S what the kids into these days?" factor. view
