This new music video was created by the winner of last year's Machinima.com "A Glittering Gift" contest. With high level artwork, graphics and visual effects, the animated video is on par with the live action version and (I imagine) cost a lot less to produce. view

Irish director Meiert Avis manages to give form to the figments, wading into the waters where “everything stays down where it's wounded / and comes to a permanent stop.” Take a peek inside a mind that’s shaped history, but don’t expect any clear lines. As Dylan himself has said, "I'm not good at defining things. Even if I could tell you what the song was about I wouldn't. It's up to the listener to figure out what it means to him." view
