I thought the writing on this first season of Craig Brewer’s Streamy nominated show was phenomenal. Though the show is completely scripted, most of the characters are actually from indie bands in Memphis, Tennessee, and it reveals their struggle in the local arts scene (including the lame day jobs indie artists typically have to work to support themselves). There was a time when MTV radically changed an industry (believe it or not). This quality of show, being released on the Web, could again be a step in that direction.

The fact that my wife Kim is one of the hot girls has little bearing on the fact that this is a really funny, smart Q&A series in the vein of "Ask a Ninja."

Tracy Morgan, the actor behind erratic sketch-comedy star Tracy Jordan on "30 Rock," is in fine form in these "Dear Abby" parodies. His answers to viewer letters are either non sequiturs, inane replies or smoked-out deep reflections. Definitely worth watching.

To pay the rent, he had to find a typical 9-5, and since then he's been unable to fulfill his true desires. (Welcome to the real world, buddy). This completely fan-developed and produced musical homage to Harry Potter is fantastic from top to bottom, demonstrating the power a compelling story has in permeating viewers' lives to the point that they want to get involved and create something. I hope studios will find ways to support this type of fan fiction. The fan-made prequel for Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog is another must-see.
