Here's an animation that's both soothing and very weird. This trilogy of cartoons by Aya and Jason Brown is set to music by a piano composer named Hauschka. I love the watercolor style of the world, and the creatures are very cute. Make a pot of tea and enjoy all three parts.

Of all the comedy videos about out-of-work hipsters finding uniquely strange jobs, this is definitely one of the funniest. Two dudes, tired of munching on roaches and sick of annoying TV pitchmen, decide to become contract killers. The result has plenty of gross-out gags, gratuitious violence and a closing line that reeks of 80's action movie glory.

Well, the producers of Bump+ are not afraid of controversy, the subject of abortion being one of the most controversial in this country -- this drama series follows three young women with unplanned pregnancies: A sorority girl, a military wife and a single Mom with a hazy past. Each of them is 2 months pregnant and hoping to be chosen for a reality show that will follow them during the decision-making process.

"Buried Alive" is a horror web series that's shot "Blair Witch" style. The directing is surprisingly effective considering most episodes appear to have been filmed with a handheld camcorder. Good plot twist in the opening episode, and the series is driven by an antagonist who indeed does bury people alive.

For those of you who can't get enough of George W.'s blunders, this is the series you've been waiting for. Bush Bites cleverly animates our president's verbal bloopers in all their unedited glory. He raises the sensitive issues, including my favorite, the concern that OBGYNs aren't able to practice their love on women all across the country since many have been put out of business. It's sad but true.

God, I love the 80's. Disney Theme Parks recently hinted at bringing back their famed 1986 3-D attraction "Captain EO", no doubt to capitalize on renewed interest in Michael Jackson. This film has it everything you hate to love about the 80's, including puppets, choreographed dancing, synth music and the cheesiest sci-fi sets this side of "Explorers". The 3-D effects are lost on your computer screen, but the spirit remains. Incredibly, this was directed by Francis Ford Coppola and produced by George Lucas.

Created and pitched as if it were archives from a real 1950's Sci-Fi TV show, this black-and-white puppet-based comedy is full of Atomic Space-Race spoofs and wry sexual innuendos. "Lost in Space" gone terribly awry. It's smart, funny, and the intentionally cheesy FX and fake model spaceships are spot on. Well done.

The Carpet Bros are forced to take over the family business upon the death of their father, famous Carpeteer Brock Raylon. The series stars Tim Meadows, Marc Evan Jackson, David Spade and Bob Dassie. With a distinct 1970’s feel, the look of this series is just as good as the comedy and acting.
