FedEx Informerical Spoof

Comedy (Spoof), Viral (Viral ads)
[ 2:56 - from YouTube ]

Will it ever get old spoofing infomercials? It's possible but that time hasn't come yet. Because infomercials are just so...so....mockable. Take this latest spoof from FedEx -- only this time here's a major brand coopting the cheesy formula to amusing comic effect thanks to its use of "Best in Show" star Fred Willard as the supposed FedEx.com frontman. What works about this video -- as both an ad, because yes it is an ad, and as a viral video in its own right -- is the ordinariness of the FedEx.com features Willard goes nuts for.
