Hayao Miyazaki - "Right Here, Right Now"
Animation (Animé), Music (Music Videos), Viral (Mashup)
[ 5:55 - from YouTube ]
Let me state up front that I really don't like anime. But Hayao Miyazaki, one of the great animators of all time, transcends anime by way of his startling originality, idiosyncratic characters and well-formed stories. This mash-up is a highlight reel of Miyazaki's films, set to Fatboy Slim's "Right Here, Right Now". It's cool to see how the master's style and skills evolved from his earlier work to recent classics like "Spirited Away" and "Howl's Moving Castle". His latest film, "Ponyo", just opened in theaters.
