Here's a fascinating stop-motion animation from 1930, created by a little-known early cinema auteur, Charley Bowers. A bird lays an egg that turns into a full-sized automobile. Bowers was a favorite of the Surrealists, and you'll see why quickly. It's amazing to think how they even made this.
