Natural Hazards
Comedy (Broad)
[ 5:36 - from YouTube ]
From the beginning, every image and line of dialog in "Natural Hazards" reveals character and advances the story, two aspects I consider essential to a quality web show (or any show, really). As an example, the lead character owns a copy of Hillary Clinton's autobiography, signed by the Secretary of State herself with a note that reads "Don't forget who wears the pants." If that's not reason enough to watch this winner of the comedy category in the 2009 NAPTE NextTV Competition, then the original take on the "girl in the city" concept definitely is. Compliments to the writers of this show. It would be great to see it developed into a web or television series in the future.
