Someday, all of us will have a 3D printer in our office, where anything we can imagine will be quickly “printed” into a plastic object. Eyeglass frames, action figures, tweezers, doll houses, Walt Disney’s head (it’s sculpture). Born out of a “hackers collective” in Brooklyn, MakerBot is a start-up to watch – and so hard to get the 2D mind around it’s best captured by this video doc.
