Roald Dahl on the South Bank Show

Docs & Non-Fiction (Cultural), Other Gems (TV Clip)
[ 2:59 - from YouTube ]

The legendary children's author Roald Dahl creeps out a group of kids by talking about witches. This is from "The South Bank Show," an English arts and culture program that appears to take more stylistic risks than the average TV documentary. This segment has a very mysterious and strange tone, especially when Dahl drops the kids off with a woman who is obviously a witch, and also obviously Ian McKellen dressed in drag.
