As previously mentioned (directions for contest HERE), August is movie month on Crackle, and to get you ready I will blog a riddle every day that hints at the movie to come for the next day. It is your task to decipher this puzzle, then utilize the comment section to tell me what movie I am teasing.
So, for the movie that airs tomorrow (August 11th), guess this flick:
#31in31: Nuclear testing in French Polynesia creates a hyperactive amniota with a taste for downtown destruction. A Japanese freighter is attacked, then the French get involved. New York calls out for Bueller!
The first correct guess (I won’t tell you until the next day…don’t want to ruin the surprise!) will be entered to win an in-depth interview on the Crackle blog. Each week’s contest will end on Friday at 6pm, when I will personally contact the seven finalists (one a day, Saturday – Friday) giving them 5 more riddles they have to answer. Whoever gets back to me first with the most correct answers will win (race the clock!). We will have one winner a week, four total for the month of August.
So, if you think you know what movie I am talking about, TELL ME IN THE COMMENTS. Also, if you think you can create a better #31in31, we have a competition where you can test your movie knowledge and wording skills. Jump on over to Compete at the “Summer Drive-In”: 31 Movies in 31 Words for the full details, and learn about how you can create your own 31in31, challenge a friend, and vote on your favorite creation. You can win stuff here too, so flex your “cinematic” mind and tell me why you love your favorite movies. The new flicks for the month will premiere on our landing page every day in August, so check back often.
Thanks, and guess that flick!
