Animal Farm
Animation (Cartoon / Traditional), Other Gems (Film Clip)
[ 1:11:57 - from sling ]
Here's some old media on a new media platform. This is the first widely-distributed British animated film, released in 1955. It's fairly true to the George Orwell novel of 1945. This is not exactly kiddie fair - the "wake up" message of the book is finely drawn out by directors John Halas and Joy Batchelor. The message: "All animals are equal."
