Jack Slider's luck has run out, and his career as a professional baseball player is over.  Always a threat on the field, Slider would stop at nothing to get a run, even if it meant taking another man's life.  With his world in shambles, Jack Slider needs to find a new path.  Fortunately for him, the police force is ready and waiting to put Slider to the test.
