Sunny's career began as an award-winning television news anchor and reporter. She traveled around the country covering everything from red carpet events to the 911 terrorist attacks. In 2006, she trusted her journalistic instincts and launched the Internet television series, Viral, which has since been labeled as the "TV Guide of the Internet". Viral was nominated for two Webby Awards in its inaugural season, received an honorary Webby for its final season and was viewed more than 20 million times. In 2008, Sunny partnered with DECA as host and associate producer of Dog and Pony, an internet series featuring innovators shaking up the business world. She also worked with some of web's top female bloggers to produce Momversation, another DECA production, featured on CNN, LIVE! with Regis and Kelly and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
