Shamelessly manipulative, this horror / drama / mystery is undeniably effective. Building atmosphere like some sort of French M. Night Shymalan, director Mathieu Ratthe slowly draws us in into a tale of blood, creepy crows and foreboding winds. The revelation at the end is a complete 180, but by gum, it's satisfying.
