A sci-fi fantasy series, with budget, great cinematography and established Canadian actors, Riese has some promise. Riese is a "mysterious stranger traveling with her wolf" across barren lands, fighting evil people in dark cloaks. Lots of Lord of the Rings music cues, titles, and moody scenes, so they've got the audience pegged. Apparently, it's also something called "Steampunk" which apparently involves big black goggles...
