Pattie Maes demos "The Sixth Sense"

Docs & Non-Fiction (Computers / Tech, Science)
[ 8:42 - from TED ]

No, it's not about the 1999 Bruce Willis movie. This lecture by MIT scientist Pattie Maes demonstrates an emerging interactive technology which allows viewers to use their hands when navigating through information. This gadgetry seems at once far-fetched and yet tantalizingly plausible. And if it sounds an awful lot like another movie, Steven Spielberg's "Minority Report", well, Maes addresses that too.
