Online video played a huge role in the presidential election, and most of the best clips were created or remixed by supporters, not the candidates. But I got a kick out of this one from Mike Gravel, who also showed he would take chances when he did a video with Obama Girl on our network. A lot of fringe candidates like Mike Gravel, Ralph Nader and Ron Paul did some really interesting things with online video. For all the well deserved hype about Obama's stellar marketing campaign -- I'm not sure his campaign actually created any memorable TV spots or online videos. Not that this Mike Gravel video would have suited him, but it's pretty out there.
