Can you believe that when this happened, I was actually watching the live broadcast? I remember exactly what happened like it was yesterday... I sat in my puffy chair watching the spelling bee coverage on ESPN when, suddenly, this kid's eyes widened and he went down on the word "alopecoid". I immediately jumped up and called my friends to have them tune in for a replay. The most amazing part is that he gets right back up and spells the word correctly!
