Afghan Hearts and Minds

Docs & Non-Fiction (Cultural, News, Politics)
[ 2:38 - from Vimeo ]

"I kind of get that feeling that maybe this isn't the best place," says a U.S. soldier guarding Afghan citizens. This video is a preview of a longer form project that shows the U.S. military's strategy to "win the hearts and minds" of the Afghans. Ironically, it's the strategy itself that's causing more civilian casualties and newfound hostility.
