George Carlin on Death
Comedy (Dark Comedy)
[ 9:56 - from YouTube ]
George Carlin was unstoppable, even in his later years. Here's a ten minute bit on Death that is brutally funny and unsparing. From trenchant comments about the seemingly comforting comments at funerals, or caustically burning away the phoniness behind the self-centered notion that " the people who die have nothing better to do than to run the heavenly branch of the Make-A-Wish Foundation." Carlin was always a servant of logic and master of timing. Anytime mortal fears arise, I turn to this video to blast it away.
