During historic legislation offering healthcare to an unprecedented number of Americans, Representative John Shadegg figured a prop baby that wasn’t his would make a logical visual aid to fight against healthcare reform, because he figures his constituents are as smart as infants. I mean, if the baby is so versed in healthcare, shouldn’t you just let the baby explain why health insurance overhaul is a noble cause but unnecessary in our laissez-faire economy? Or is he afraid the baby might beat him in the next primary?
