One of the best examples of branded entertainment I've seen - Post manages to make a cereal synonymous with octogenarians sexy. Even though they mention the words 'shredded wheat' about a dozen times, it doesn't feel like a commercial. It's a smart, fun comedy series that's expertly cast, and draws you into a century-old brand in an innovative way. And don't be surprised if you get a sudden craving for the shredded goodness. Or, an odd affinity for Frank Druffel, the eccentric President of the Shredded Wheat Factory. Oh, wait, maybe that's just me.

An original web series aimed at young girls called Smart Girls at the Party. The show, created by and starring actor/writer Amy Poehler, celebrates young girls who are changing the world by being themselves. Aside from what seems like an ironic sponsorship ad by Mattel for Barbie, the show has a great feeling and message without seeming condescending. Great content for young girls.

People love SNL Digital Shorts, created by Andy Samberg and the dudes from The Lonely Island. Check out "Dick in a Box," "The Japanese Office," featuring Ricky Gervais, the "MacGruber" series, and "Laser Cats." Great fun from the not always great SNL.

If you like your family classics twisted into a hysterical murder mystery, you'll love this animated series. Sit back with some cocoa and treat yourself to some sick comedy this holiday season.
