Breakdowns of 1936
Comedy (Bloopers), Other Gems (Film Clip), Viral (Time Capsule)
[ 9:37 - from YouTube ]
This might be where Warner Brothers got the idea for their stuttering Bugs Bunny sign off. Before they called them bloopers, outtakes and fails, on-set flubs were referred to as "breakdowns" -- and the tamest of the bunch were compiled into an annual reel. Watching Bette Davis and Humphrey Bogart's alter ego's lose their cool, you wonder why the studio isn't packaging this stuff into DVD gold.
