Humor is rarely the weapon of choice in policy ads. And morbid humor? Outside of HBO and a few edgier network sitcoms, we rarely see it. So this ad supporting President Obama’s health care plan takes risks in appealing to the masses. The payoff is that it’s memorable. Also worth noting, it’s sponsored by MoveOn.org, which doesn’t get presidential approval.
