Urban Aquaculture

Series Docs & Non-Fiction (Eco / Green, Food / Cooking, Science)
[ 3:23 - from Babelgum ]

With 75% of the world's fish species either exploited or depleted, we may have to rely on urban aquaculture to continue to enjoy tuna tar-tar or sushi.  What is urban aquaculture you ask?  Professor Martin Schreibman explains that they are lab cultivated fish farms that now are our 3rd largest import, next to cars and fuel. Fifty percent of fish consumed come from these fish cultivating labs; I guess we need to start rethinking the notion that there are plenty of fish in the sea.
