Waking the Baby Mammoth
Docs & Non-Fiction (Nature, Science)
[ 5:02 - from National Geographic ]
If you're a nerd like me, then you've been fascinated by the recent discovery of a near-perfectly preserved baby mammoth. This episode in National Geographic's series on the "ice baby" focuses on how scientists biopsy tissue without damaging the animal. Peering into the collapsed lung of an extinct mammal never looked so cool.
