Online “story extensions” are not just for TV shows anymore. These days, web series are launching their own special video supplements – the v-logs, character profiles, and slice-of-life docs that flesh out a show’s little world. On the brink of launching Appleseed Elementary, its producers have introduced “Life Lessons with Mr. Bailey” – the classy social studies teacher who clings to the motto: “You’re gonna learn sometime kids, might as well learn from Chip.” In this lesson, kids learn about their sexual desires “so they don’t go shootin’ a whole school full of people.” Mr. Bailey may be NSFP (Not Safe for Parents).
