This French short is a great example of how to take a familiar story and elevate it with style and panache. The computer animation allows for surprising moments of art deco splendor but it's the ending that will stay with you. After all the tango flourishes and fancy editing, it is the stillness of a quiet embrace that lingers. Tres romantique!
