New school policies sometimes have unintentional consequences. "Immersion" is the story of a Spanish speaking boy who is very good at mathematics but struggles to pass an exam written only in English. The film provides a glimpse into the difficulties faced by children of recent immigrants and the current limitations of the American public school system.
